Money Talk$ was founded in 2017 by Arthur Robertson, who was born and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens. Arthur attended New York City public schools throughout his childhood. Specifically, Arthur attended P.S. 42, J.H.S. 180 and Beach Channel High School in Far Rockaway, NY. He attended Post University in Waterbury, CT, on a full athletic basketball scholarship. Throughout Arthur’s junior and high school years, from his experience, financial literacy concepts were not taught in the classroom. This made him realize how critical it was to understand the importance of 1) budgeting your finances 2) managing debt and 3) credit. As a result, Money Talk$ was created to provide the youth and adults with the financial skills and resources necessary to build generational wealth in urban communities.
Currently, Arthur Robertson is a Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management group. He focuses on providing wealth management solutions to individuals and their families.
