Why We Exist

Many public school students end up graduating high school without an adequate understanding of basic financial literacy concepts, resulting in financial illiteracy.

According to a Forbes analysis:

·      Two-thirds of American adults cannot pass a basic financial literacy test.

·      44% of Americans don’t have enough cash to cover a $400 emergency.

·      43% of student loan borrowers are not making payments.

·      Only five states have a personal finance requirement in high school.

If we’re not ready to bring financial education into the classroom, then the responsibility ultimately falls on individuals to educate themselves.
